Welcome to my on-the-road blog. I celebrated Canada Day yesterday in Dublin, where RTE (the national radio station) played Gordon Lightfoot’s “Rainy Day People” and Leonard Cohen’s “Closing Time” to celebrate.
Those Rainy Day People are getting a workout today after a ferocious thunder storm early this morning which I slept through. Noticed the waters of the Dodder were high and turbid when I got up.
Just back from Co. Mayo for a friends’ sleepover in Louisburg and a visit to Clare Island.
